Hello,
I'm Cathal.

I am the face behind Chambers Marketing

The Vision

Chambers Marketing is focused on providing value for your business. The result of good marketing should influence the bottomline. The aim is to work with businesses to uncover their story, build their brand, engage a community, and drive awareness and sales.

The Brand

The branding around Chambers Marketing is designed to inspire confidence. The confidence in both the business and the service provided. The logo, the brand palette (colour scheme), the submark, the tone of voice and the personality reflects Chambers Marketing.

  • The logo is designed as a chamber door. To emphasise the fact that with good marketing, you can open new doors and opportunities (and my surname helps).

  • The purple primary colour reflects the royalty or richness in the service you will receive. Work will be carried out carefully and confidently. The cream secondary colour reflects the comfort you will feel when working with Chambers Marketing.

  • The tone of voice across the website is a confident and reassuring one. The language is simple, because marketing can be made simple. This tone of voice helps to comfort customers and encourage their trust in the brand.

  • The personality of the brand is honest. Chambers Marketing has been created to help businesses achieve growth using their marketing.

About Me

In 2021, I graduated from NUI Galway with a Masters (MSc) Degree in Marketing Practice. I’m incredibly passionate about marketing and business. From starting my own music page to promote my live music acts, to everyday marketing activities at Ronspot, a multimillion euro startup, I’ve gained a lot of expereince in this time.

Using my knowledge from NUI Galway and my industry knowledge, I want to help businesses improve their return on their marketing. Often, marketing can be overlooked as just “running a social media account”. Thankfully for me, it’s so much more than that. It’s designing a brand, developing a personality, and creating value for your customers! My aim is to help smaller businesses market themselves and learn about their products or services in the process.

I’ve been lucky enough to work with some fantastic businesses and brands in the past three years, take a look below:

The biggest win at Ronspot was changing the way the business gained customers. Originally, the sales team had to reach out to potential customers by email or phone calls. Following a website overhaul, including a website redesign, SEO review, keyword research, and Google Ads campaigns – today all leads to Ronspot are inbound. This means the customers come direct to Ronspot, without a salesperson reaching out to them first!

Some other big wins:

SEO work meant Ronspot now rank in the top 3 results on the first page of Google for relevant keywords (Search ‘desk booking system’ to see!)

Created high performing blog content – attracting 11.5% of all new users to the site

Installed a quote generator – leading to over 300 inbound leads in under 12 months

Early this year I worked with Brannens of Newport to complete some re-design on the website. This involved adding 10 new webpages to the site, reviewing the layout, and also reducing some segments that were slowing the site down. Following this, I’ve continued to manage the email marketing for Brannens of Newport and the Social Media accounts (Instagram and Facebook).

In just 5 months Brannens have increased their instagram following by 30%, to 580 followers.

Content is now being shared consistently and the engagment rate has been high on Facebook. To see the results, visit the case study by clicking the link below.

After a trip to Dublin during a pandemic summer, I stumbled across a page posting free tables in bars and restaurants to their Instagram story. The idea was great. At this time, there was a high demand for tables and a need for businesses to reduce their ‘no show’ bookings. On returning to Galway, I decided to take on the project for the city of Galway. This meant creating a brand, promoting the service, and building a community.
